Marshall Moseley and Jean Dotterweich in Love Letters

Clip from Death of a Salesman YCP TheaterWorks began in 1959 and was incorporated in NY in 1962. Originally known as the Yorktown Community Players, we have entertained thousands and offered countless others the opportunity to perform, direct and work backstage.  A not-for-profit, YCP TheaterWorks always holds open auditions. No roles are ever precast. Performers return again and again to audition because they love the friendliness of the group. Everyone has fun and there is a real family feeling.

The Current Season

Holiday Board Meeting December 2005 The Board of Directors select the plays and directors for each new season and support each production.

The board consists of 15 members, and we currently have 40 non-board members. We are always looking for community residents who want to be involved in theater, both on and back stage.  For information on how to become involved call (914) 528-4145 or email us at ycptwATbestweb.net.

We also invite prospective directors to submit proposals for the next season to the chairperson of the playreading committee, Melinda O’Brien at MMLibraryTheatreAThotmail.com.
